Here’s the future!!! No more entering contacts in your phone. No more hand entering web pages in your browser. You can even pinpoint a place on a map with these guys. I’m getting ready to launch a website for the Hermann Trolley here in town and they will have one of these at the front of the bus. It will direct the user to the Trolley’s facebook page immediately and if the user is signed in, they can “Like” the page right there. I don’t have an android, blackberry, etc., so i’m not sure what app you would use to enable your phone to do this but for iPod 4th Gens and iPhone, go to your app store and look up “qr scanner.” It should be the first app that pulls up and is a black square with the letters “QR” in the middle. Once you open it up you can click on “New Scan” and then as soon as you have the image in the screen, it will ask if you want to open the URL and when you do, it will take you to this blog. Anyway, if you have a different kind of smart phone, please comment and let me know how to get apps on other phones to enable this feature. Thanks and have fun.
